6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information:

Current infrastructure and product vendors may include providers such as Convex, Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Twilio, Google, Sentry, PostHog, and Axiom. Vendor usage may evolve as our product develops.

7. Controller vs. Processor Responsibilities

BreedersPlace may act as a data controller for account, billing, security, and product operations data. For many records submitted by breeder customers through breeder-managed sites and forms, we may act as a processor/service provider on behalf of the applicable breeder (tenant). In those cases, the breeder controls how that data is used in their business workflows.

8. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand product usage. Depending on your location, you may have choices to manage or disable certain analytics and non-essential tracking technologies through browser settings or in-product controls.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, meet legal requirements, and enforce agreements. Certain records may be retained in archived, backup, or soft-deleted states for operational recovery, security, and audit purposes.

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

Our services may be operated in and from multiple countries. By using BreedersPlace, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

12. Children's Privacy

BreedersPlace is intended for business and consumer users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain uses of your personal information, and to request data portability or object to certain processing. To exercise applicable rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

14. Third-Party Sites and Services

Our services may link to external sites, registrars, payment providers, or other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies and terms, not this Privacy Policy.
